A Monrovia, California homeowner got the surprise of a lifetime when she walked to her kitchen only to discover two bears helping themselves to breakfast!
According to NBC Los Angeles, Alicia Taylor left the front window open to get some fresh air, but she ended up welcoming more than a breeze into her home.
The mama bear and cub seemingly took the open window as an invitation in and ripped the screen off to enter the house.
When Taylor noticed the bears at her kitchen table eating donuts, she quickly pulled out her phone to record.
“That’s our donuts,” Taylor can be heard saying in the video below. “Should I make noise? Should I call 911?”
Unsure what to do, Taylor ended up making some loud banging sounds to spook the bears – and it worked! The mama quickly darted from the kitchen, with her little cub trailing behind.
In an interview with Inside Edition, Taylor explained that she was in her room and she headed into the kitchen to get some water when she spotted the mama bear and her cub. “I was pretty shocked,” she said.
The next day, the bear and her cub were spotted outside the window again, but this time, it was shut. No more donuts for them!
