Some pet owners choose names for their animals that mean something, sound nice, or somehow fit the animal in question. Others, however, pick their pets’ names with humor in mind.
That’s all fun and games until the vet has to call out the bizarre or weird name into a busy waiting room. It can get a little awkward.
Dr. Frank Bozekla, an emergency vet from Illinois, took to TikTok to share some of the weirdest names he’s had to call out. It might make you rethink how you name your pets in the future!
In the first video, he shared all about the “weird pet names to yell in a busy animal hospital waiting room.”
In the clip, he acted out the scenario of him calling out each of the animal’s names. He claimed each name was a real pet he had to work with.
It started with “Sergeant Sniffers” and went through “Sir Francis Duke of Meowington,” “Spicy Mexican Hot Sauce,” Paw McCartney,” and “Boogers.” As if Boogers weren’t bad enough, Bozelka then recalled a time when he called out “Tidy” only for the animal’s owner to correct him to “Tiddy.”

In a second clip, Bozelka recalled even more names he had to work with, including “LuciPurr … Lover Boy … Gooch Master … and Eggplant Emoji.” Eggplant Emoji’s owner claimed her “son says [the name] is a pop culture reference.” Keeping it classy!
The last name he shared was an animal called “Master.” That wouldn’t be so bad if it weren’t for the pet’s last name: Bates.
People are sure original!

Finally, Bozelka shared a third clip, but this time, the names didn’t come from his clinic but from followers who claimed to have pets with these names.
The names included “Bark Ruffalo,” “Pico de Gato,” Ozzy Pawsborne the Prince of Barkness,” “Neil Catrick Harris,” And “Boo-B.”
