Having the ability to video call our friends and loved ones is something many of us take advantage of.
While it’s been around for a while, the COVID-19 pandemic really showed us just how valuable technology can be in keeping up with our loved ones by using FaceTime, texting, Skype, etc.
Apparently, it’s not just humans that enjoy video calling with friends, but some dogs do as well!
Take Gaytor, for example. He’s a wire fox terrier that lives with his owner, Ali Wasel, and as she shared on YouTube “he enjoys skyping other dogs.”
Along with that tidbit of information was a video showing Gaytor watching a video of a dog and “talking” back to it through howls and sounds. It’s quite adorable.
The two dogs seem to be having a pretty serious conversation and it’s clear that Gaytor wants to have the last word.
Gaytor video chats for the entire duration of the video, which is around one minute long. It’s neat seeing a pet get to experience and enjoy technology in that way.
I’ve tried to video call with my dog before while on vacation, but he never seemed to take much interest. Maybe he’d enjoy talking to another dog, though, just like Gaytor!
