There is nobody on the planet quite as proud as a mother with a new baby. She wants the entire world to know about her child and the love that she has for the youngster.
It seems as if that is not only true of humans, but even many animals in the animal kingdom feel similarly.
It’s easy to see that when you watch this video of a mother ferret, and all she wants to do is show her human her newborn kits.
When you first watch the video, you might be wondering why the ferret is so interested in pulling the hand of the human toward a box.
She almost seems a little on the aggressive side, but once her caregiver gives in and allows his hand to move in her direction, she leads him to a box with her kits inside.
Those little baby ferrets are sleeping under a blanket and the man is able to pick them up and handle them, right in front of their mother! When he takes his hand away, she comes over to bring him back again.
There are so many different things going on in this video and although the message is very simple, it is one that has sparked quite a lot of conversation online. After the video was posted on YouTube, people began commenting about what the ferret was doing and why she was doing it.
Some people said that the ferret had a lot of respect and love for the human and there was a level of trust that was off the charts. She wanted the human, someone who was familiar to her, to see the babies and she was given a formal introduction.
There is no doubt that the caregiver was welcome to see the kits and was even able to handle them.
There were also other people who had a different opinion of what was happening. Some of them felt that she was showing her maternal instincts and the bond that she had with her caregiver was more like one where she needed to take care of him, just as she was the rest of her kits.
One other possibility is that the ferret loved the man and it just wanted to introduce the rest of the family to him.
I guess the debate will continue to rage on in the comments, but one thing is certain. That ferret loves the man and trusted him.
