How much loyal love a dog has for his owners is just amazing!

Emily did not expect that their rescue dog Kendall would become the number 1 protector of their son.

Kendall was short of a few hours to being euthanized when Emily and Davy agreed to adopt her. Emily saw her picture and felt that she was the right companion for their dog Tiger.

Yes, the two dogs became close friends. But in the early months of her adoption, Kendall was such a destructive dog. Emily and Davy were almost tempted to regret their decision, but they saw how Tiger and Kendall were an inseparable pair.

Then, one day, out of the blue, Emily felt something hairy snuggling next to her. It was Kendall. Then, after realizing she was on the family way, Kendall was always following Emily everywhere.

Then, Austin was born. Emily was especially protective of him, keeping a bunch of alerts in his room. But there was something that greatly surprised her. Kendall was checking on Austin every night!

She was guarding the baby for Emily!

And should she notice that Austin was awake, Kendall would whimper to draw Emily’s attention.

The two grew up together. Kendall became Austin’s playmate and best friend. Amazingly, even though she was a large dog, Kendall know instinctively how to be gentle toward Austin.

Even Davy was impressed and touched by the once destructive rescue dog.

Now, Kendall accompanies Austin almost everywhere. Tiger is on the watch, too, making sure that their whole family is happy and safe.

Davy and Emily were so grateful that they adopted Kendall. “You never know what kind of a
dog you’re gonna end up with,” the couple said.
