Waking up hungry is never fun, but having a routine to know when breakfast is served can help. The same is true for our pets!
Two Staffordshire bull terriers from Warwickshire, England, are used to their breakfast time and they can’t stand when their food is served late.
Alfie and Ayra live with their owner, 28-year-old Lizzie Colden, and they put up a fit when they’re not fed on time. Or, Alfie does anyway.
The two-year-old pup was recently caught on video throwing a temper tantrum over his late breakfast and his owner shared the footage on social media!
She wrote in the clip, “Today breakfast wasn’t served quick enough for Alfie’s liking…So he decided to make his point in the most obnoxious way possible.”
In the video, Alfie can be seen aggressively pawing at his dish. He doesn’t give up and makes quite a ruckus!
“Such an aggressive way of telling me I’m too slow,” Colden captioned the post.
While some might think it’s unusual behavior, Colden revealed it’s normal for him! According to the New York Post, she said: “Alfie’s very dramatic. He’s a massive diva. This happens when I don’t feed him on exactly the right time.”
