Megan is a dog mom to two rescue pups, including a pit bull named Goose.
When adopting rescue dogs, you never know exactly what you’re getting, but Megan lucked out with Goose. He turned out to be so loving, affectionate, and protective!
When Megan became pregnant, Goose seemed to sense that something was changing and gave his owner extra cuddles and attention.
In a sweet video shared on TikTok, Megan even showed that Goose would snuggle up on her pregnant belly and listen for kicks!
When Goose felt the baby kick for the first time, he could hardly believe it. In the video, you can see him resting his head on Megan’s belly and his eyes look almost closed.
However, his face slowly begins to light up and his eyes start to glow when he realizes what he’s feeling! We’re not sure if Goose recognized that there was a baby in Megan’s belly or not, but the video was incredibly sweet either way.

While some dogs are sweet to their pregnant owners, they don’t always enjoy having a new baby around once it’s born. Babies take a lot of attention and time away from the dog’s owner and it can be a hard adjustment for people and dogs to make.
However, Goose took the transition in strides and he seemed so excited to meet his newborn baby sister, little Ivy Grace! Megan shared a video bringing Ivy home from the hospital, you can check it out below:

After around 5 months together, Megan shared another update. She said, “In case you were waiting for an update it’s definitely Goose’s baby.”
