One of the most difficult things that a pet owner could go through is to lose the animal they love so much.

Even though the animal may only be gone for a moment, it seems to stretch on into eternity.

It’s even more difficult when the pet is gone long enough that we begin to look and cast a wider net. Soon, we are hanging signs on telephone poles and doing everything that we possibly can to get our beloved furry family member back home again.

Perhaps that is what happened to the owners of Luis. It seems as if the cat had gotten lost somewhere in Buenos Aires and the owners were busy looking for him. They had put out signs and it had been about four days since their beloved Luis went missing.

That is when Camila Castoldi managed to see something that she could not have expected. She saw a sign hanging on a pole and wanted to get a closer look. There was a picture of an orange and white cat and the family was desperate to get her back home again.

As it turns out, there was something else that caught her eye. She knew that she had seen the cat before and as it turns out, it was the very cat that was at her feet! The cat had managed to find the “missing cat” poster and was hanging out below it!

According to The Dodo, she said: “I said, ‘Greetings, Luis!’ Then I called his family. The family came running, thanked me, and pampered him.”

Luis may have been gone for a few days but he seemed to be doing well and was happy to get back home again.

As far as Camelia was concerned, she had only seen Luis for a few moments but now she was in love with him. She still gets pictures of the cat on occasion so she can stay up-to-date with the latest.
